SOYA WAX
Soy candles are made from soy wax, which is hydrogenated soybean oil. Soy wax was invented in 1992 by Michael Richards who was looking for a cheaper alternative to beeswax. As he entered the candle industry he realized there was a growing demand for natural wax candles.
All of our candles and wax melts for oil burners are handmade using 100% Eco friendly Soya wax from replenishable sources and use 100% natural wicks. They are ideal for anyone worried about the environment and particularly good for households with people suffering from asthma or allergies due to the cleaner burning nature of the natural wax (up to 90% less soot than paraffin wax candles).
Although Soy Candles are slightly more expensive than paraffin wax candles, there are many benefits to using soyawax as a candle wax instead of traditional waxes, such as beeswax, paraffin wax and palm wax. Our wax is:
